Sandra L. Watkins
President and CEO
Sandy Watkins serves the Alban family of companies as chief executive and head of all property management, home inspection and the handyman/renovation activities of the Alban companies. She joined Art Lazerow as his secretary in 1977 for Lazerow Development Corp. Housed in a dusty construction trailer shared with a construction superintendent and Art, Sandy helped build the communities of Frederick Heights and Alban Place in Frederick, Maryland, several communities in Montgomery County and headed all property management operations in Frederick and Phoenix Arizona. She now manages numerous investment properties for third-party clients. Along the way, she became a first-rate property manager and earned her real estate license.
Terry Toms
Chief Financial Officer and Bookkeeper
Terry Toms came to work with Art Lazerow in 1982 as one of several junior bookkeepers for the growing home building and property management company under the banner of Lazerow Development Corp. Over the years, her knowledge of bookkeeping for these businesses grew and she was promoted appropriately and repeatedly. She now serves the Alban companies as Chief financial officer, Chief Bookkeeper and Chief of Frugality. Terry ensures that the Company’s books are in fine order and she continues to be instrumental in the financial success of the companies.
Bobbi Atkins
Inspection Scheduling
Bobbi Atkins is the face and voice of Alban Inspections. Friendly as the day is long, she’s the favorite of Realtors and our clients throughout the region. She does a marvelous job juggling inspector schedules with the inspection needs of our clients and their Realtors. Add to the mix is how well Bobbi handles pickup schedules for radon tests two days after an inspection and preparing water and mold test results. she is a busy lady. In spite of the whirlwind of activity, you can count on Bobbi for a wonderful smile and greeting.
Tina Yarborough
Chief, Lead Paint Administration
Meet Tina Yarborough, administrator of Alban Inspection’s Lead-Based Paint. Tina has extensive knowledgeable and experience with the ins-and-outs of the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) regulations relating to lead-base paint testing for rental properties. She handles all inquiries from rental property owners and property managers to help keep them from going afoul of MDE. She has a fine aptitude for scheduling all of the Alban lead-paint inspectors and processing reports, knowing that our clients need timely service so they can deliver occupancy to their tenants.
Monica Beane
Assisstant Bookkeeper
Monica is our assistant bookkeeper and all-around “girl Friday”. She is also our chief IT person, helping the entire administrative staff when IT, scanning or cell phone problems arise. Whether processing and juggling paperwork, invoices or payments from clients, Monica is capable of balancing a large amount of varied responsibilities as Terry Toms’ assistant.
Arthur S. Lazerow
Chairman
Upon graduation from AU Law School in 1972, Arthur S. Lazerow began his housing career as corporate counsel for a major Baltimore area home builder. He was involved in all aspects of construction and property management. In 1976, he founded Lazerow Development Co. Inc. to develop the Frederick Heights community and then other communities in Metropolitan Washington D.C. In 1994, he founded Alban Inspections, Inc. During 2011, he founded Alban Eco Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Alban Inspections, Inc., and became its President. This company performs energy audits and energy renovations for building of all types. Art was a member of ASHI and a Maryland licensed home inspector before he retired from active home inspecting, having performed over 6,000 inspections. He serves Alban Inspections as its chief advisor.
